How it works

Launch your token on Solana.

Anyone with a compatible Phantom wallet can create a pump.fun token using their own name, ticker, artwork and description.

Launch a token
01

Connect Phantom

Connect your Solana mainnet wallet. Your wallet creates the token and pays account rent and network fees. Batonpad does not hold your funds or private keys.

02

Add your token details

Choose a name, ticker, description and PNG or JPEG artwork up to 2 MB. You may include your website, X and Telegram links. The uploaded artwork and metadata are public.

03

Choose an optional first buy

Set a SOL budget from 0 to 10 SOL. A zero budget creates the token without buying. An optional buy is included in the creation transaction and sends purchased tokens to your wallet. Account rent and network fees are separate.

04

Prepare and approve

Click Prepare launch to upload metadata and simulate the transaction. Check the cost estimate, then click Launch token and approve in Phantom. Creation and your optional buy use one transaction approval.

05

View your token

After the transaction is verified on-chain, open the pump.fun token page and Solscan receipt. Verified launches appear in your launch history and on batonpad. External chart and token indexing may take time.

06

Recover a pending launch

If submission status is unknown, use Recheck status before starting another token. Keep the same tab open while launching. Wallet changes show only that wallet’s saved attempt. Never send the same launch as a fresh token while its transaction is unresolved.

Tokens and NFT collections

The default launch flow creates a fungible Solana token on pump.fun. It does not mint an NFT collection. The separate NFT collection workflow remains available for creators who want NFTs and a linked coin.
